Nightingale Release

Did you know we name all of our software releases after famous heretics in history? We named this release after English social reformer, statistician and the founder of modern nursing – Florence Nightingale. In addition to writing over 150 books, pamphlets and reports on health-related issues, Nightingale also created one of the first versions of the pie chart. However, she is most well-known and credited for her work making hospitals cleaner and safer.

New Definitions Extraction Model & Workflow

Our new out-of-the-box Definition Extraction model can auto-extract every definition in your contract and populate it to the new Heretik Definition object. With fields to store the name and text of every definition, you’ve just auto-generated a dictionary of definitions into a table across your data source. You can easily reference this list in the Heretik Viewer via the new Definitions Pane.

Code at the section-level in the Heretik Viewer

Any coding decisions you make in the Heretik Viewer default to creating metadata on the parent document, not on the sections. We’ve now introduced the ability to explicitly code section documents so that you can export a section-level reports of risks, obligations, and opportunities.

Heretik Analysis Notifications

You’re now able to receive email notifications when an analysis set completes with information on the number of documents completed, canceled, excluded, or errored and a handy link to your analysis set. You can also configure who receives notifications at the analysis profile level.

Easily create sections in the Heretik Viewer

You can now simply select text from a document in the main review interface and “Create New Section”. Heretik auto-populates the section heading and type, creates a new Relativity document for that section, and adds it to the Sections Pane for quick navigation.

Easily create regular expressions

We were excited to announce regular expression building blocks in the Mendel Release. We’ve expanded on this to make creating regular expressions even easier by shipping with several new out-of-the-box blocks that are handy & foundational pieces to building regular expressions. We also support referencing persistent highlight sets as blocks as well so you can simply create a list of phrase variations and reference that list from the search bar.

Other enhancements

  • Document Assembly – Heretik now supports multiple choice, multiple object, and single object field types in Document Assembly for mapping to tokens in your assembly templates. (Click here for documentation)
  • Field Auto-population – You can now either store the text of the section in which the regular expression result was found to a long text field, or you can store a certain number of characters before/after the result. (Click here for documentation)
  • Export regular expression preview results to Excel – Previewing regular expression results from within the Heretik Viewer was a powerful addition to the Mendel Release and we’ve enhanced this functionality by supporting export to Excel.
  • Enhanced text selection in the Heretik Image Viewer – The experience of selecting text in the Image Viewer is much improved so that sending to field is a lot smoother. You can also now right-click on data points in the image to quickly send to field.
  • Data points load twice as fast – Data Points in the left pane of the Heretik Viewer will now load around two times faster. For documents that have dozens of data points, you won’t experience any page lock up or loading bar stutters.
