How To Eat An Elephant

Claire Williams | September 10, 2019

One of the comments that we receive from prospects interested in contract review is they often aren’t sure where, when, or how to start when taking on a massive new project. It can be daunting to think about starting something like a LIBOR or Brexit project that has hundreds of thousands (or millions) of documents to review.

We’ve found the best advice we can give these folks is asking them a simple question – how would you eat an elephant?

The truth is, the only way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time. Same with contract review projects. Building a foundation by solving the smaller contract review projects then allows you to put together scalable workflow to tackle the bigger ones. If you understand how to chew, you can eat an elephant. If you understand how to execute contract review projects, you can scale.

Intrigued? Good! This year at Relativity Fest Chicago, we’ve assembled a panel of expert elephant-eaters that are going to walk you through their first few bites, and how they’ve scaled those projects into profitable new revenue streams.

You’ll walk away from this session understanding whom you need to speak with, how to recognize patterns where your skills apply to other domains, where to start solving problems, and why eating an elephant is easier than you think.

Not to mention…if you thought Heretik had fun last year, get ready for this year. We’ve got a lot up our sleeve, and we can’t wait to share it with you! Want to stay up to date on all things Heretik? We may be posting some teasers for Relativity Fest this year, so stay tuned!
